Pictet-SmartCity: “The city awakens”

Steve FREEDMAN, member of Pictet-SmartCity’s investment team, gave an update on the fund and the investment potential of the sustainable cities theme.

As a reminder, the fund invests in listed companies that offer solutions to address the challenges of urbanisation and that improve the quality of life of city dwellers. The fund has a growth bias with a defensive, less cyclical component compared to other funds in Pictet Asset Management's thematic equity range. The fund is classified as an Article 9 fund under the SFDR Regulation and received the Belgian "Towards Sustainability" label from Febelfin.
